Another interesting thing about this locale is their ability to shift from yellow to green and back to yellow on a daily basis. I witnessed this in a small adult male I had back in 2003, a couple of years before they were being imported in numbers. At the time, I knew I had something different, but didn't know the locale.

quick 20 second search of carnary turning green. problem is I read alot of info on these forums but can never find the thread after word, but there was a thread with a few people showing animals they claimed to be 8 9 10 years old and finally turning green. I would figured that to be an average and call 12 a safe number
