The seller told me I could send the snake back for a refund. I told them that I felt that I was the snake's only hope/chance to survive. It lasted a couple of weeks and finally passed.
Reptile Kingdom is the source-----I say beware or avoid this seller on kingsnake.com
I will take your advice. Have you experienced any awesome ball breeders?

Re: Farewell Ball
The poll results thus far is interesting. It is good to know that 75 percent of members here have not had a bp die on them. Another interestiung result is that it is rare for a ball python to die under proper care. I feel bad for those of you who have lost balls. I wish I could have made a poll with more options or with more than one question. I might poll another question.

All of the breeders I've purchased from have been awesome. A few are from this site, like Justin Kobylka, Jake Wallace and Jeff Flanagan... they each sent me beautiful healthy snakes, who haven't had any problems so far!
Oh, and I voted that none of my snakes have died, thank goodness. But I've only been keeping them for a year, so I'm sure it's something I will have to deal with eventually.

Re: Farewell Ball
P.S. Since you live here in the Bay Area, you might want to check out Robert Seib... he's based in Walnut Creek, and comes highly recommended by other BP folks.
Here's his website: http://easternindigo.com/ (he specializes in indigos, but also breeds BPs)
