I'm also one of the ones where I can eat anything and won't get fat or outta shape easily I'm actually more athletic than my brother who plays a lot of sports LOL. I can run pretty damn fast too (faster than some of the guys in my grade), but I don't really do any sports. I don't really feel like doing any type of sports, it seems so boring. I'd rather stick with the herps

It's important to do sports, specialy when you are young. If you dont like doing sports then run around somewhere you like to walk for no real reason. Like the beach. Music always helps. Or go dive in the pool a couple of hours.

This might be one way to get rid of it for good:

    1. Video tape yourself close up, including facial expressions/sounds, doing this behavior you wish to stop.

    2. Download the video to youtube and post it here with a contest of who can do the best impression of you doing the odd throat muscle thing.

    3. Watch all the video impressions.

    4. Think to yourself "OMG, is that what I look like doing that"?

    problem solved

I'm kinda hoping the gum and salt water doesnt work because Id really like to see this contest! But seriously, get better soon!

Well I definitely like to run around, but I'm not a hyper person that's for sure. During the Summer I always swim in my pool, almost everyday. Nothing better than swimming in 100+ degree weather

Hence why she posted in the off topic cafe. Im not sure if were even alowed to even talk about ball pythons in here. Are you confused about what this section is used for( In that case, for things off topic to the ball python forum in general), or why she doesnt ask a docter first instead?

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Wear a big heavy rubber band around your wrist. When you catch yourself doing the thing you want to stop doing, pull the rubber band way back and let it snap back to your wrist hard. It'll sting a little bit, do this often enough and you'll soon associate your habit with pain and that should make it easier to break the habit.

Not even a doctor, but the fact that this minor inconvenience is shared on a forum dedicated to African reptiles remains a mystery to me.
