Re: Is Feed a egg to my snake as balanced as a mouce

Well, to be fair there ARE egg eating snakes. However Ball Pythons are not one of them.

To be honest, I have no idea how you'd convince a ball to eat an egg, unless you fed the egg to a mouse first, then fed the mouse to the ball.

I have heard of people feeding their BP's eggs, but do not feed them chicken eggs (highly toxic) -- they can only eat eggs from mice or rats!

Wow -- X2 on the WTF comment!!

Sometimes, [sarcasm] tags really shouldn't even be needed.

Thanks All, what a hilarious thread. You can feed them mouse eggs, they just have to be inside a mouse!!!!

About as good for a ball python as the black sand substrate in your avatar pic

But the black looks really cool, and aspen doesn't come in black -- plus, it goes great with the skull!! How else would people know he is cool?!?! A snake and a skull -- that is the epitomy of cool!!

    Later,

    George

BTW -- In case anyone thought I was serious about mouse and rat eggs -- I was kidding. Everyone knows they aren't hatched; the stork brings them.
