I have a fan that does not need wiring or adapter.
    Wow...that looks pretty straight forward.

What size would you get for a 4x2x2 incubator? Also, does it have to run 24/7, or can it run just when the heat kicks on?

The incubator I have now, the fan turns on only when the heating element kicks on...

You really want to have it on 24/7, mine is plugged to a dimmer so I can regulate the speed.

The one I currently have for my fridge incubator is the 80 x 80 High Speed so I can regulate the speed from low to high

Re: Where did you get your fan for your custom incubator?

Yeah Josh, the ones Deborah posted are ones you would just wire straight up to an appliance cord and your good to go.

More power obviously equals more output, which wouldnt be bad for an incubator of your size.

Still run em 24/7 to keep temps even.

Radio shack has some 4x4" 120v fans for like 20 bucks a pop, 2 of those and an appliance cord and your set

The fan I use in my 4x2x2 incubator moves 90 cfm if I remember right. Might be a little overkill.
