Breeders Aquired Late in Season

Picked up Breeders the past month. Just looking for advice as whether or I should even be bothered breeding this year or not. Here is their situations. Looking for input/suggestions.

1.0 07 pastel. Proven breeder. Purchased 6 weeks ago. Hasn't touched food0.1 05 normal. Never bred. Still on food. (large rats)
1.1 06 normals. Got as a pair. oer witnessed female having multiple locks with a spider and pastel. Both on med-lg rats.
1.0 het albino. Much smaller han the other males. extremely aggressive. never bred.

I use a 10 tier vision 32 qt. just looking for any input you guys to kick the breeding season off.

Well, Quarantine is a HUGE issue in terms of your collection.

Did you get them all from one source?

Do you have them quarantined at all?

IF you got them all from one source, I would say go ahead and breed them (if you care to) in quarantine.

If you didn't, you are taking a huge risk by putting all those snakes together in terms of illness and disease.

I wouldn't..most snakes won't breed after a major enviroment change like that..some will but its rare.. I'd hold off make sure they are healty and then this fall for for it!!

if you areplanning on spending any more on royalmorphs i'd really think about proper QT procedures.

Cool. Had the Vet check them. They show no signs of parasites/RI. I'll keep them seperate for another month or so and make my decision then...Thanks guys.

When you purchase a breeder male in mid season, there is a good chance he has already been bred. Your pastel male who is refusing food may still be in breeding mode, thus the lack of interest in food. Co dom males often get dumped after they have bred other co dom morphs, since the breeder is planning to replace him with one on the double co dom offspring anyways. I'd put him in a clean bin free of the scent of females until he goes back on feed.
