ahh thats what I was going to say cuz I looked online as well and didn't find it when I went to get all my stuff. I was surprised at how many they had though and the fact that they had none on the site...weird.

I just picked one up yesterday, $12.00! Works real good, and I read that sticky on the mod and that was sweet! I'm going to do it, just have to get a 15watt soldering rod.

My friend got it with a bunch of snake and gace itto me since he don't like it it liek a 28- or 32 quart deal so I figure i can use it for when I get new snakes or as an ove flow rack until I can make more room in the reptile room to place it.

Re: so many different ways to measure the heat!!!!???

Well the acu-rite is a thermometer/humidity gauge, not a thermostat.

Here's a source on the web:

    http://www.partshelf.com/acu00891.html

Shop around, you might be able to find it cheaper. I've also seen 2 different models of this. I have both models, not sure which one is the newer one.
