Thanks so much for all the help. I think that until I am staying put for a while (where the house temp is above 60) that I will switch him. I like the one with the aspen (right?). So he will only need one hide? Can you explain the heating gradient? I have a Reptitemp 500R for the time being but would love some tips on setting it up. I need a new digi therm/hygrom b/c mine quit measuring humidity & I can't find the receipt. I will be picking up the Accurite one. I also have a UTH for right now as well.
