I contacted a vending company in the area and he had one he wanted to get rid of. I paid $125 for it. I spent a total of about $250 on this build.

Re: Incubator Build
Won't the humidity on the inside play havoc with your electrical set up?
Otherwise, damn, that thing is huge. Hope you can fill it.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

That crossed my mind, but, I use completely sealed tubs. Humidity should not be an issue. Also clutch wise I'm at 4 ovulations already and have at least 4 more on the way.

Thats what I was thinking, I'd keep the helix outside and just run the probe inside.

Th probe is way too short for that option.

I did the same with a snapple cooler. Although I keep the Helix and electrical outlets on the outside. The incubator holds temps extremely well.

Really? I've seen it done before.
I myself just drilled a hole in the side of my coke fridge and ran my probe and other wires through there, then tape it sealed. The only thing electrical I have in the bator is the flexxwatt and the fan blowing(24/7) over it. I have used it four years straight, hatched many clutches with no problems whatsoever. I also keep tubs with rocks and water on the inside bottom to stabilize temps and humidity. I put some grating on the tubs and made another shelf that way.
Hope you hatch some great clutches in there
