    It may not seem large to you but honestly, you are wasting your time making a huge display for a snake that is just going to sit under a rock all day. You might as well not even put the animal in it!

    I would go with some sort of boa or larger python in a cage that size.

    well to be honest i am building this cage for a red tail i will be getting in the near futur but the cage i am housing my BP in is a little to small so i will keep him in this one until i finish my rack.
    1.0 bearded dragon (mr.lizard)
    1.0 red tail boa(chaunchy)
    0.1 burmese python(stella)

    yea should have mentioned that part haha. btw what do you think is a reasonable price for a red tail?

    It depends if you want a morph or not. My friend got one for $60 at a show but I have heard of them being sold for less.

    Hi,

    The floor space would only be 5¼ square feet if my pathetic attempt at math is correct.

    How are you planning on heating it though as that is one heck of a lot of height the snake might never use.

    It seems there is an extra number in the measurements...Is the height 1'9", 3' or 1'11"?

    im going to have a double layer floor with heat tape then a glass covering lifted about an inch off the ground

    the bottom of the cage is 3ft by 1ft9in the height of the tank is 1ft11in
