It depends on where you measure it. The slush on the road has about 2 inches, the bare asphalt has about an inch. We too are expecting about the same. I'm done with the snow. I may take a week off and visit my son in Daytona Beach, after all, I'm paying the rent on the house he's living in.

30 inches here so far (Federal Goverment offices are closed) and more coming down as I post....

I had to climb out the window so I could dig the snow off the porch to get out the door (had to do this for both doors)...

I would post pics, but resizing is slow and a pain, so I don't do it often only when I have a lot of time to waste.

Sounds like you're really getting snowed in down there literally. I bet you's can't wait till it all melts!

AND there's more snow coming down now (at least I have my 4-wheeler back) that I haven't shoveled yet...sigh.

It can't melt fast enough for me.

We have about ten inches so far on top of the two feet that we got from the first snow storm. It just keeps coming down!

Oh wow thanks for sharing those pics! I love it when it snows like that as long as no power is lost and I don't have to be out shoveling it.

We have just a little less at the moment but it's coming down pretty good.

Our luck will be the weather will change and next week, we'll have 70 degree days and all of this snow/ice will melt in a 24 hour period causing massive flooding.

    Wanna bet?

The wind has picked up and we're at about 20 mph with gust to about 35. This is the time I worry about the power going out. Forecast is for wiinds to gust to 60 mph. Now that's scary.

We've got about a foot of snow and it's still coming down. Well, to be honest, it's coming sideways.

    I wouldn't doubt it.
