Be very gentle when holding. Do not pull it at all. Tickling the tail will help get it to move. If you're gonna hold it then let settle. If it looks stressed leave it alone.

I dont handle my neos this is good advice. what I do recomend is while its perched if u want to 'hold it' rest your hand under the coils this way they get use to u and u can 'hold' it... all my GTP are tame ...yep even my Biak

I've heard that said many times, and having no direct experience with them, I've often wondered if that just means you shouldn't apply any force to pull them from a perch or if you shouldn't touch them period. Would it be ok to handle them if you're somehow lucky enough to have one that'll climb onto you of its own will, or is even that a no-no?
Mostly to avoid accidents, but kinking could show up months later. So i play it safe and leave them alone until they are older.
