    Re: Albino Piebalds

Honestly an Albino Pied is worth as much as the breeder is willing to sell them for. Some have been offered for $15,000, but they are so rare that eventually people who do have them, will start to breed them Albino Pied to Albino Pied and we will start to get a lot more on the market, but that will take a year or two so those babies can grow up.

Realisticly if you think about it, any combination is pretty much possible. triple, quadruple, quintuple recessive traits are all possible, but take A LONG time to get. These are just 4 recessive traits quad hets bred together and the possibilities you'd get

Male = het. Albino, het. Genetic Stripe, het. Ghost, het. Piebald
Female = het. Albino, het. Genetic Stripe, het. Ghost, het. Piebald

    Offspring predicted as:

    ---------------------------------------------------
81/256 Normal(66% poss. het. Albino, 66% poss. het. Genetic Stripe, 66% poss. het. Ghost, 66% poss. het. Piebald)
27/256 Albino (66% poss. het. Genetic Stripe, 66% poss. het. Ghost, 66% poss. het. Piebald)
27/256 Genetic Stripe (66% poss. het. Albino, 66% poss. het. Ghost, 66% poss. het. Piebald)
9/256 Albino, Genetic Stripe (66% poss. het. Ghost, 66% poss. het. Piebald)
27/256 Ghost (66% poss. het. Albino, 66% poss. het. Genetic Stripe, 66% poss. het. Piebald)
9/256 Albino, Ghost (66% poss. het. Genetic Stripe, 66% poss. het. Piebald)
9/256 Genetic Stripe, Ghost (66% poss. het. Albino, 66% poss. het. Piebald)
3/256 Albino, Genetic Stripe, Ghost (66% poss. het. Piebald)
27/256 Piebald (66% poss. het. Albino, 66% poss. het. Genetic Stripe, 66% poss. het. Ghost)
9/256 Albino, Piebald (66% poss. het. Genetic Stripe, 66% poss. het. Ghost)
9/256 Genetic Stripe, Piebald (66% poss. het. Albino, 66% poss. het. Ghost)
3/256 Albino, Genetic Stripe, Piebald (66% poss. het. Ghost)
9/256 Ghost, Piebald (66% poss. het. Albino, 66% poss. het. Genetic Stripe)
3/256 Albino, Ghost, Piebald (66% poss. het. Genetic Stripe)

    Hi,

I thought an albino spider pied would be an all white snake with a yellow head?

I'd prefer an albino pied just for the extra pattern on the body.

Yes i do believe this is what you would get. All Spieds are all white snakes with just a head coloration, so an albino spider piebald wouldn't really be all that different. Although we could call it the yellow head i guess?
