Picking out a Mojave.

Hi everyone,
Feb. 13th I will be going to a local show, and I plan on picking up a female Mojave. Just looking for some good tips on picking out a quality Mojave. This will be my first morph. And do you usually get any paper work with them?

What someone likes in a particular morph is in the eye of the beholder, as far as paper work, you might get a receipt for your transaction. Usualy the only paper work involved is with hets.

Unless its het. for something i highly doubt ull get any paperwork besides a reciept. My biggest tip for picking one out is just go for what you like, besides that high blushing and bright yellows is what i look for. When i bought my first mojo i got lucky and found a ringer within the group, take your time lookin at em.

hit up brad boa or pro herps they will both be there and are great people to work with. if they dont have what you want they will point you a great breeder that does.

mojo's have beautiful eyes, that are greenish blue going into near white on top. Look for muted colors and I personally like the ols with bigger heads.

I know Brad Boa, he will be at the Timely Park show that weekend. I wish I could go to that show, but I will go see Proherps though at the Taylor show.

In my opinion, I like ones with high blushing. The female I have is only about 250 grams, so I can't really tell what it's going to be like, but the male almost has a smooth look to it in terms of the pattern.

I personally really like him myself.

Some people like reduced patterns, some like busy patterns. You will see a difference in price due to quality.

Well, when I pick one up from the show I will post some pictures. I plan on picking up a nice female Pastel or Pinstripe the same day.

Ah, no problem.. In that picture he was about 300 grams, he's a picky eater so he's only about 415 grams now.. He's very calm and I think everyone has that one snake in their collection that doesn't like to eat but just can't part with.. I think he's awesome personally.
