    Light and Shadows

So we are thoroughly snowed in here in NC. The parking lot at our apartment complex is covered in a three-four inch solid sheet of ice and snow. Supposedly we are still having class after noon tomorrow, but I am not sure I believe that. Anyway, snow related confinement in my house has resulted in another photo session with my baby balls and my new camera- both of which are things I love. I played around with some new lighting conditions and I think some shots turned out nice. Enjoy:

Thanks! She was not being a cooperative model for this photo shoot, but that first picture captures her color nicely.

I love that first snake and the paradoxical mark on it. Makes you wonder if it's got some pied in it.

Very nice pics and snakes. Welcome to NC the only place where pickle juice is the only defense vs snow/ice.

I love her little mark too. Looks like someone took an eraser to her. I think it is a fairly common feature in pewters though.

Hehe. I am from the NC mountains, so this amount of snow isn't really alarming. It is more sad to watch people flounder and freak out.
