In other words, a super bright yellow pastel is still just a pastel--the same as one that is completely browned out. They have one copy of the pastel gene, regardless of their color.
A super-pastel that is bright yellow and one that is browned out--no difference. They are still super-pastels. They still carry 2 copies of the pastel gene.
A killerbee is a super-pastel spider. You need 2 copies of the pastel gene, and one copy of the spider gene. Your killerbee will look nicer if the contributers of the pastel genes look nicer, but your odds remain the same. It isn't color that makes a killerbee--it's genetics.
