Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's a male. I read somewhere that males tails thin out faster ( it actually said shorter, but isn't the whole snake itself a tail?) than females. I'll try rats next time from my supplier, see what he thinks of them. So I am feeding him enough? Maybe not right now but in general? Is there any advantage to feeding him 1 80-100g rat instead of 2 45g mice? Because if I get the pack of rats (I checked the website) its 1 dollar more, so if there is an advantage then I'll get those, but he seems to be fine on the 45g mice.
