Well, input is roughly equal to output, and since juvenile leos eat daily, they pretty much poop daily too. If you're used to snakes that eat and poop once a week, I can imagine it'd come as a bit of a surprise. At least they naturally pick a bathroom corner, so cleaning up after them is pretty easy.

people keep telling me that they pick a corner, but these guys haven't received that memo yet. Maybe once they settle in they'll pick a place.

Re: Leopard Gecko juvies!
Very pretty girls!
As for the pooping thing, mine likes to go on top of her humid hide (tupperware container in the corner)... rarely do I find poop anywhere else, so at least my leo got that memo. But I remember it taking a while for her to become consistent, so I agree with the above opinions on that.

Re: Leopard Gecko juvies!
Odd that yours haven't picked a corner yet - I've yet to meet a leo that didn't have a consistent bathroom spot right away. In fact, the one I currently have has stayed the same through a few moves, even though the north/south/east/west orientation of her cage has changed. The poop is always in the back right corner of the tank, no exceptions. She even stayed the same when we moved her from a 10 gallon to a 20 long a few years back.

actually they DID both manage to figure it out. The front right hand corner so i get to see their poops every time i look at the tub. I think they're trying to tell me something. lol

all of mine picked the front left but it makes it alot easier for me to clean out as the cage is raise up to eye level and has a sliding door i only need to reach just inside to clean up. they are very thought of of the one that feeds them LOL
