    Made up morphs

I was browsing again as usual, and what is with some people haveing what appears to be a normal BP and renaming it to sell for much more money, like this one.....

    http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=32&de=741892

Never heard of it, and looks like nothing special to me. There was also an ad for a female spider, but was also a normal (hope it was a mix up). But I keep seeing where somebody calls a morph somethin different and it's nothing special at all but cost quite a pretty penny.

    1.0 Mojave
    1.0 Pastel
    0.1 Lesser
    0.0.1 Alligator mississippiensis

I partially retract my statement, thank you!

But it also looks nothing like the "discos" in the link you provided. The discos on your link do not look like a normal as the one in the ad.

The ones in the add you posted are HET for disco, they have the trait but it doesn't show up visually. That is why they are being sold as a pair.

    They are nice.

Maybe I should have read up on some things before I opened my mouth in the original post. My bad! I have a tendency to do that.

    Re: Made up morphs

It fine..there are alot of people out there that will use..very odd normals and try and pass them off as some kind of odd new morph.

But the disco is supposedly a co-dom morph so it shouldn't have a non-visual het surely?

Looking at this page they look just like light normals to me - but it does say they should have clear bellies and the head spot.

It's a pity really because I have loads of babies with the same looking head spot but they do not have totally clear bellies.

    Re: Made up morphs

If it is a co-dominant morph, there are no "hets".
The visuals would be "hets" for the super.
Any normal looking animals would be just that...........normals.
