Best place to buy six foot PVC caging?

I am looking for a company that has a good price on a 6x2x2 cage, but am having a hard time finding companies that sell them, or that sell them for a lot more than 4x2x2 cages. Any info would be appreciated.

I've got an AP 4x2x2 and am very happy with it. If I was heating a 6 footer though I MIGHT consider going with a boaphile cage and getting a RHP to heat it. However, I think that boaphiles are probably more expensive.

I saw that, but I wouldn't pay that much. I was able to buy two four foot cages for $350 shipped, brand new. I don't understand why six foot cages cost so much more than four foot cages.

Eh, all of the good companies out there are going to be pricey. Sorry

Re: Best place to buy six foot PVC caging?

6 foot cages whether in PVC melamine or wood are more expensive because of batch sizes and yields. The raw panels are 4x8 so if I need to make a 6' cage, I can only get 2 parts out of the entire sheet. More waste = more cost. A 6' cage also requires more fabrication time because our tooling templates have to be modified to accomodate the larger cuts. I've got a template for routing doors for a 4' span, not a 4'+ span. These little tweaks here and there take time. But, I'm a cage builder so I might be a little biased/ sensitive!!

I understand they would cost more than a single four foot cage, but should they cost over double? I was able to buy two four foot cages for cheaper than one six foot cage.
