I admit, I always look at what good can come of something before I see what bad might happen, but that's because I want good things to happen. It seems that some of you always see the glass as 3/4 empty because you know the tapered cup has more volume in the top half and you feel like they're trying to pull one over on you by using inches to determine half way. In my opinion a glass with something in it is better than nothing. Before the pessimists skew what something is, it's edible, but yours can be full of sand or poop or whatever you think they might try to feed you.

What I meant was my glass is one quarter full of something edible. I felt that if I didn't clearly define what something was, creative suggestions would follow.

I am the type of person who has a glass half full mindset. That mindset is also programmed to ensure self-preservation. I also think realistically. I also look down the line to how something can affect me long term. I also am a risk taker - I scuba dive in cold water, ride a motorcycle, date, and juggle knives, just to name a few. However, I take calculated risks. And this program, featuring spats between married couples and their "snake keeping problem" -- the risks far outweigh the benefits in light of the legislature going around about pythons and boas.
