I would. I wouldn't be happy about it, but if it was means of life or death, I'd rather live. I can't imagine it tasting horribly... Anything tastes good with salt! Lol.

Re: Would you eat a rodent?

LMAO!!! Ok I must confess.. I am the "unnamed" one here

What I said was.. As I was looking at the 2 boxes which say in big BOLD letters -RUSH! -Frozen Meat- Rodent Pro - (with a nice big picture of a mouse on the box) I wondered what my UPS guy must think when he delivers these??

Either, what in the world are they feeding in there to need 2 big boxes of frozen rodents..Or.. I wonder if they eat this stuff their selves???

So what if we did experience some global catastrophe and had no food supply? Most of us have an awful lot of "meat" in our homes. Snakes, rodents, dogs, cats. If it were life or death for you and your family, would you eat these things?

Well I have had aligator. My favorite meat actually. Great cajun restaurant about 45 minutes from me serves the best ever. I have heard rattlesnake tastes about the same as aligator. Rodents?? Aren't they supposed to be close to rabbit?

Dont people in africa eat rodents? There are people who think americans are nuts for eating cows and keeping dogs and cats as pets.

Im pretty sure if it came down to eating my rats otherwise my son and I will starve, I would get a fire going in my fireplace, skin that critter and put a skewer in it!

Thats not to say I wouldnt load up a firearm to go out and try to catch my own food first though..

Im sure it would taste alot better than a raw pinky mouse...

Re: Would you eat a rodent?

When the world evolves into Demolition Man, I'm sure I will because I certainly won't be a surface dweller.

I can't even eat chicken on the bone, so I'd have to be pretty darn hungry to think about it. We can go four to six weeks without food depending on our body fat storage. In that much time I think I could grow some plants to eat.
