Anyone Else have a "Pooper"?

Some snakes surely are affected by finally stretching out a bit, or perhaps the handling putting pressure and "working things down" a bit.

How does one dispose consumed waste without a "pooper"?

My girl works in health care.

My snakes seem to be triggered to poop by me changing the substrate.

Yep yep! Most of mine like to wait until I have changed everything and washed water bowls. Then its time to completely dirty up the entire tub and rub it on the water bowl!

I almost got pooped on by my SD retic but I was standing right by her tub so I only got a little tinkle before she was quickly put back and left a HUGE pile for me to clean up LOL!

Im actually shocked I havent been pottied on by my borneos yet but Im sure it will happen

If you read any of my posts....I am pooped on ALL THE TIME. Call me the human toilet!! I have finally figured out that when I get them out...I spread out an old comforter and a towel...and let them play around on that for a while. After they do their thing then they get free range to roam. They are so scheduled with their poo and pee it is not even funny. I think they secretly take fiber...lol.

I was waiting for you to chime in . I just am amazed that even after he pooped 2 days prior to me holding him, he still pooped on me when i had to help him shed. I didn't know they could have so much poo.

I have found too that luke warm water can stimulate them to poop. My first BP and my new baby poop just about every time they are put in luke warm water. I have also found that luke warm water can stimulate feeding also. This can be helpful but at the same time you have to be cautious too. I used to feed a Redtail Boa in a dentist's office and he was a picky eater so sometimes I had to take him to a sink in the back, put a little luke warm water in it, then after a few minutes drop the mouse in and every time he would immediately take the mouse. So far, and I guess I'm lucky, I have not been pooped on or peed on by a snake.
