I have a question about feeding
I have a ~1 ft. long BP who I normally feed 1 Hopper mouse a week. Since I've moved home from school I cannot find anyone who sells the size I need. Not live anyways, and she hasn't shown any interest in frozens. So the last two weeks she's been getting the smallest adult mouse myself and the store person could find. This week's was way smaller than the one she got last week. I fed her exactly one week ago, and I still cannot find any trace of her passing the meal. Now it's feeding time again, but I don't know whether I should wait until she passes her last meal to feed her again, or if I should go ahead with feeding her on schedule.
If someone could help me out with this one, that would be great. Thanks!!!

Mine don't poop every week either but i do still feed every week. It should not be a problem continue to feed every week and it will poop when it needs to.

Re: I have a question about feeding
I think excrement in any animal is just excess of something. The body takes in food and processes it, anything left over comes out. Ball pythons seem to be very efficient with this process. If you gave it a small meal it may not have excess. I wouldn't base a feeding schedule around a deficating schedule.

Re: I have a question about feeding
Ball pythons can hold their poo for a very, very long time. Hatchlings especially.
Let me ask you this, do you poo after every meal or wait to poo before eating again?
Thats what I though
