I don't like PETA or their practices but there were over 26,000 animals neglected in this case and there is no way one man could have done enough to care for them all. You also have no idea how much management pushed the employees so they may have been doing all they were allowed. It wasn't just the snakes in this man's care that were neglected.
They were breeding these animals and that is why they were trying to force hibernate them, undoubtedly these were instructions from managers to get the animals to breed.
Also this is the same company responsible for the MonkeyPox outbreak so the had problems before PETA got involved.
