A Special is a co-dominant gene that when bred to a Mojave produces Crystals. A Special is not all that much out of the ordinary as far as looks go, but will highlight anything it touches and, unlike alot or morphs, Crystals and Specials get better looking with age. The Super Special is insane! The Epic is a highlighter morph found in Crystal clutches explained here.

Re: These gene combos make what morphs?

My first clutch of eggs was from Pastel X Special. I didnt know what a Special was at the time and ended up with 0.2 Pastels. One of the Pastels (I held back) was clearly nicer than the other and later proved to be a Pastel Special. Out of the 5 normals, I had one Special, which I called a Halfstel... I joked around about how he tried to be a Pastel, but just couldnt quite make it. The reason I told this story was to show that they are easily identifiable in a clutch with normals, but maybe not so much when pictured alone.
Specials are quite a bit lighter than most normals... Their bellies are white with flaming running up the sides. They usually have blushing up their backs and some cool sort of spotting on top of the head.
Also, when breeding a Crystal, every hatchling is either a Special or Mojave, which leaves no questions.

Specials are on the same allele as a Mojave, which makes a Crystal somewhat of a Super. The Crystal cannot reproduce itself when bred to a normal, but every baby is either a Special or Mojave.
