    Yes, size is a genetic trait that can be passed down to offspring, as is litter size. For instance, if you have females that have particularly large litters, her daughters will also probably have large litters, or are at least more likely to.

    thank you it was a bit confusing when one of my particularly large females had 18 pinks but none of them got nearly as big
