Please don't say you keep chameleons on wood chips. They do best with no substrate. Whenever they shoot at feeders they often get whats around the feeder too. Accidental ingestion would most definately lead to impaction.

no my chameleons have a blank white pvc floor, but they also have nice green trees and red and yellow hibiscus and orchids in their cages so they do look pretty. I do have a sandbox in my femals cage but that is a laying bin

I have hibiscus in my cham cage as well.
