I got that same scale from RBI. I love it. I really should invest in a temp gun...

Yeah, I love weighing my snakes... it's satisfying to see their numbers go up, especially with my good eaters.

Btw, how old are your snakes? I think my babies are around the same age as yours, but they weigh a lot more - they're total pigs, LOL.

I'll take a snake over a diamond & purse ANY day... so I'm a dorky girl too, hehe.

    Re: Look what just arrived!!!!

Elizabeth is 5 months old...she looked so much bigger than that to me and I have never had an eating problem with her. So I was actually surprised by her low weight. Now I got her from a pet store....but a reliable one and they stated she was a she....but I have never popped her. I am a little chicken without someone right here with me my first time...lol

Henry is 3 months old...and a huge piggy.

Samantha is only 6 weeks and already taking adults...

Now that I have my scale I can actually measure the mice to see if I am feeding the right amount. At this time I just go with the size of their body.

Having a scale will really help with feeding, and keeping track of their growth rate... fyi, my hatchlings (Julius, Orlando & Vinnie) are all 4 months old and range from 300-370g. But like I said, they are total pigs! Especially Julius the Mojave, who's now the official leftover disposal.
