Pastels do undergo a lot of change from hatchling to adult so it my lighten or darken with age but all that really matters is that YOU like its appearance. I prefer the orange tones as well and I think the one you picked is pretty. My pastel female has a similar look to her.

Thanks and yea I just can't pass up the orange/yellow tones of this little guy. Is he too light though? 76 grams for a 4 month old seems pretty small.
