I would just be worried of having a 14ft dwarf retic instead of expected 6ft SD. Haha. I think the trait tends to show more in the F2 generation if they are crossed. I may be wrong though.
Thats why im looking for an very tiny and dark male. A very obvious SD to breed her with. I wouldnt want to bring back the size of the dwarf by breeding her to another SD x D cross.

Well here she is!

She is so yellow I am wondering if she is a dwarf or a super x dwarf which makes more sense. She was sold to me as a SD. She is 3 years old and 5 feet so she may get bigger but if i breed her it will be to a more obvious SD to keep the size below 7 feet. ... Enjoy!

You finally have a real snake .I hope you know retics are VERY VERY smart

That would be nice, our snakes could make some killer babies. (that sounded wierd lol.)
Its possible they did breed the SDs to the dwarfs for that reason, but I think most of the breeders working with them just wanted to produce SD morphs since they'ld be highly marketable. I wish they hadn't done that, it would have been nice to see more pure line of SDs.

Both of mine are 100% pure - parents were CH and they have darken up a bit, I noticed that my female has a slightly larger head than my male perhaps the head size is possibly a gender thing?

My girl was sold to me as a 100% SD. So if she doesnt get much bigger than she is now, Id be positive she is an SD. I just cant believe how bright she is. Im actually looking for a male that is at least an 07' or early 08' SD. I missed out on one a month ago because I took too long to decide but for this girl there was no decision. I just said YES I'll take her! So she was at my door less than 24 hours after payment

Ive seen the fire SD and I think that would be a great project. Imagine a leucistic SD retic!

Maybe next year i'll invest in a pair of those. Unless I get lucky enough to find a male fire SD this year. Then I may need to rethink my breeding plans for this girl

BTW I looked at your collection and that blood is Beautiful! Definately the next on my list
