    Duct tape scare

Woke up this morning to find my salmontine's head covered in duct tape. She wasnt moving when i first took him out of his tank. i thought she was dead! Lucky me, she wasnt. took me about 20 mins to take the tape off but its all off now and she's acting fine! Glad to have google by my side to guide me through saving my snakes life.

I found that cooking oil takes sticky stuff off well.

The tape was temporary to hold up a jungle vine. the night i put it in she got her head stuck in it.. scared me to death.
I used olive oil to get all the sticky stuff off.

    Re: Duct tape scare

Well, I guess it was a hard lesson learned to never ever use tape inside an enclosure. For any reason.

Olive oil might work, but with a bit of forethought, and a little common sense, the problem can be eliminated before it would go that far!!!!!!!

Yeah, haha. Now I know. I replaced the tape with suction cup hooks from walmart. they work fine so far.
