I did freeze it, but still found bugs in it.

I did leave it in over night LOL. I'll check on the freezer temps right now..

Well, during the night, since the log was too big the freezer door slightly opened up a bit and everything in the freezer defrosted. All the food that was in there needed to be thrown out LOL.. so, I'm not going to try the freezer thing again.. my mom got wayy to pissed at me today for that happening

You can skip on the hide, they dont need them.

Make sure your planning on getting a bigger tank soon, adults need at least a 4x2x2 cage.

I'm pretty sure 40 g is the minimum for adults. It can be used, but that's the smallest an adult can be housed in. Matt, she's getting an adult.

I know, Id just dont recommend anything smaller than a 4x2x2 cage, or at least a 75 gallon tank. Just because you can house them in a 40 gallon, does mean that they will like it. Imagine your master bedroom being 6x6x8, could you like in it? Sure, would you like it? I wouldn't.

I like small spaces, so it wouldn't bother me, but that's just me
