    Re: Our New Project

A big thanks to Jon from both of us!! He is amazing, almost had a purple hue in person.. That female has some nice size to her already, bigger than we were expecting her to be. This is going to be a fun project, can''t wait!!!

I'm sure it's not the last you'll see of us Jon, we can't seem to get enough!!

Pat that's AWESOME! What line are you working with?

I'm working with SK line Axanthics here- 1.1 & should have some Pastel & Spider hets next year.

Nice looking Axanthic. The Silver and Black coloring is what hooks alot of people, the contrast is just wicked.

I hatched two VPI Axanthics in 08, and REALLY wished one would have been a female, I would have kept it. My adult Axanthic still looks pretty good, going to make some Hets with her this year-going to pair her up with a Sulfur Mojave or Sulfur Pastel.

What combos are you going to make, along with obviously making some Axanthics---assuming Axanthic male and Het female equals Axanthics down the road.

    Awesome Dave,
I believe that using Fire or Sulfur with the Axanthic should help them keep their colours better. Please keep us posted on your project.
