    Despite being a great fan and collector of ball pythons with recessive genes then I would recommend super pastels. They work the same way like a recessive - all of the offspring in your case would be pastels.

    And then you could invest some money in an axanthic and create some pastel het axanthic - that's great at least in my world.

    I think I would get a female het lavender & then you got a plan. proving out possible hets take lots of time but can also be very rewarding..

    I'd do pastel x pastel and hold back any super pastels that you get. Then sell off all remaining pastels and normals and start raising a bit of funds to get yourself another het lav. Aim for one a year older than the current year. Cuts down on the wait time for breeding. Then breed any super pastel you have to any lavs you get and make a bunch of pastel het lavs. Then breed those and aim for super pastel lavs. Done and done.
