Is it me, or speaking in the 3rd person IS ANNOYING

I really don't get why this is worth so many posts and complaining. It isn't a big deal. I know of some people that do it chronically (they don't even realize they are speaking any differently, they just do). What about stuttering and lisps?

I am sure there are alot of folks out there....
But why do people some on here, refer to themselves and write their posts in the third person??

I just find it rather annoying to try to read.. and tend to simply skim over the posts...

Next time you see "people some on here"(yeah right..."some") Big Gunns is really gonna be annoyed with the "people some on here". Where are these wannabees?

A good example of this in the sports world was/is Rickey Henderson.

Also, being myself, BrandonsBalls thinks that, if it were possible to talk in the 4th person, Big Gunns would be the man to do it.

There is an ignore feature for those who it bothers that much.

Is there a way for the administrators to find out who really put Big Gunns on ignore.? Somehow BG doesn't believe they really do it.

Is it really important enough to waste your energy complaining about it? If the answer is yes then just use the ignore function.

Come on Marky...you can admit it. When Big Gunns first showed up you were complaining also. It just goes to show fans. If a long time Leeetle Minion can become a Big Gunns fan....anything is possible.

believe it or not, some people write in third person out of requirement. All of my design reviews, reports, and labs must be written in third person or else they won't be accepted.

The way I see it, it's a matter of personal preference. As long as your consistent with your style I'm cool with it.

Not sure about *people* as I have only seen it from one person.

Seems that it occupies A LOT of space between people's ears and generates A LOT of fingers on keys, so I doubt it will end anytime soon.

Does not bother me, and in all honestly I do not get why people (not just this thread - but all the other posts about it) get themselves whipped into a froth over something so inconsequential.

There's only one thing that can stop Big Gunns. If the perfect person Big Gunns sees in the mirror tells BG to stop....he'll stop. That person usually does whatever Big Gunns says...so BG doubts it's gonna stop fans.

What is the point of such a thread? I often wonder why some people feel compelled to call out members on a public forum when they have an issue with the way they post.

Drama maybe? I know drama is entertaining to some but come on.

If someone irritates you that much you have ability to put them on IGNORE so why not use this option instead

It's the internet their are many different personalities some more originals then others and quite entertaining to say the least, where is the harm in that.
