HELP!!!bp's lost in the mail what are the chances??

Don't fret too much over the legal aspects--many folks have to receive unmarked shipments every year and have done so without issue. USPS doesn't know what's in there, unless you tell them. There have been Lacey Act stings in the past, but it's extraordinarily unlikely that your little shipment would be among them.

It's not right, but that's the way it is.

As for 'mistakes'. A mistake is "Oops, I forgot to enclose that piece of paperwork!".
When you use a completely different shipper than you said you would, and lie about the contents of the package on the label, that is not a 'mistake'. That is a crime.

i'd say more of a nightmare than mistake anyways. I'mjust soooo happy they are in richmond i just hope they are still alive i have faith. i can't go back to sleep now though just gonna keep callin every hour till somebody gets there to see if i can go pick it up. i'm sure time is of the essence at the moment. i will hopefully be telling u all they are alive and well here very very shortly thanks for all the prayers and crossed fingers!!!

ok well somebody finally answered the phone. then i got the number that my express mail goes to. talked to a lady there that said that they don't pick there express mail up till 9:30 or 10 and there was no way the facility they get it from would release it to me. but that she would call me as soon as it is in her sight and keep it untill i get there. all i can do is cross my fingers but now thats atleast 3.5 more hours.

Good luck! I'm sorry you've been going through much more trauma than is necessary with this shipment. I just hope for your sake they arrive alive. I know I would never order from that breeder again if I went through this. I'm just glad you know where they are now, and I hope they get there alive and healthy.

Glad they been found and hpoe for live snakes ( pieesed offtoo but hey they will let you know ) just don't open it at the post office, wait until your in the vechile with the heat blasting. Then spend the day watching them in QT and caughting up on your sleep.

BG.. We are not assuming the shipper said he would ship via fedex or ups. You missed that part too. Read back. The poster said that the shipper stated he always ships via fedex. That means the shipper lied. If was obviously asked what shipping methods he uses. He told the buyer he always ships via fedex. He then shipped via us mail. Better hurry and drink your caffene.

Big Gunns knows what he said. Bg was just saying that you are "assuming" that what the OP is saying is the 100% truth. BG isn't calling him a liar, so don't get your snake bags in a bunch. BG is just saying that maybe he misunderstood the shipper when he said how he was gonna ship.....and maybe he didn't. The shipper has not posted here. It always easy to believe one person when you only have their side of the story.

That being said...shipping USPS is a no no and the shipper deserves 50 BG lashes and some Brussels sprouts for breakfast (BG hates them).

I have a suggestion for you.Instead of this gibberish third person talk.Why dont you try to help someone instead of blabbering?

BG is trying to help. Trying to help everyone.....CALM DOWN. We can all panic at 11am when the snakes are dead or they don't show today.

OK UPDATE. it's 4:30 in the morning and i woke up and my laptop was right there on the night stand open so i clicked refresh not expecting anything new on the tracking screen and it popped back up on the radar at the shipping facility in richmond va where i live!!!!!!!i just jumped up all gung ho trying to call around and find it and go get it and yeah nothings open and nobody to talk to. guess i gotta just go back to bed on that note but they will be here in the morning OMG i hope they are ok pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase be ok now that they popped up. i'll let u know in a few more hours.....

BG's just kidding Shiffy....as ALWAYS. BG hopes your snakes are fine, and BG completely understands your nightmare. BG has had the same one a few times. Everyone that knows BG knows he hates to ship for this exact reason. BG will drive across the country to deliver a snake instead of shipping it if he has the time...and he's done just that.

Funny story about that. BG just drove to Cali. When BG saw Ozzy(ozzy boids) at Tinley he said. "I heard you were in Cali...you must have had a big deal to drive out there...I know you". BG laughed...Ozzy knows BG well.
