The shooter was apparently an Army Major, and some type of mental health professional at that. He was being deployed, and was upset about it. Yeah, well buddy, join the club.
I have no problem with people that can't take it anymore and end their own lives, but when you take other people out with you, you're just a disgrace What really sucks is that the shooting took place at a deployment processing center which handles both those outprocessing to deploy and those inprocessing upon their returns, which means there's a good chance that at least some of the injured/killed were people that had come back from deployment and were getting ready to finally enjoy some time with their families.
My thoughts are with the injured and the families. May whatever spirit of good that exists in this world help them through this difficult time.![]()
