She struck the rat so hard... (not for the squeamish)
My boyfriend's red tail struck her rat so hard she literally split it in half... and continued to eat it

This wasn't even from her constricting. She struck at it and smoked the rat against the glass. The left over smell was horrid

I hope to never see that from my boa!! lol, i guess that would be the same thing if I socked a rat into a wall, so I could see that happening.
Id rather id be the boa who does it though, once I over dethawed/overcooked a mouse, went to squeeze it to see if it was done and it literally exploded, right into my face.
I may be able to say that i am one of the few who knows what f/t mouse taste like now...

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

I have had this happen before when I put a f/t rat in hot water before it was thawed out. I think it may have weakened the rat's skin. I now thaw the rats to room temp before heating them up in hot water and don't have this issue anymore.

was it a frozen or a live rat?
Its a hundred times more impressive if it was alive.

Id say alive, its fur looks dry and the organs look fresh.
