    Twisted Tails

So .. I am a first time branching into the breeding side. I have an 07 normal female, not really the biggest female (1500) but ... I think just from what I have read and what I have seen, it is worth a go at least. testing the waters with some trial and error, guessing and hoping.

Anyway, I paired her with a Spider male. First try it was like middle school .. the picked a corner and just sat there. I separated them, waited a few days. Feeding day comes around, both refuse ... so I don't know if it is a for sure sign, or if females do it of if it is just the male ... but I was like .. "hmmm .. "

On a whim, not expecting anything, checked my setup and put them together. One thing I noticed right away was they were like .. crawling all over each other. Again, not sure if that is good .. or just coincidence, just that I noticed the difference. Today at lunch, I checked it out.

We have lock. Good .. solid lock, one I didn't even question for any time.

SQUEE! Now that stuff happening I need to make sure all the rest of my ducks are in their rows and I am watching the situation carefully. I learn by reading then trial and error .. this will be a fun ride, making the next season more serious and me more sure of myself.

    HERE WE GO!

Just sharing .. and being excited.

    Congrats,

And you will love the whole roller-coaster, nerve shattering, patience stretching thrill of it all.

And I promise when you look in the incubator and see those little faces looking back you will totally melt.

It's amazing looking in the incubator on day 61... and finding 2.2 Normals and a male spider for all your efforts...
