    ok, before you go to a vet, give him time to shed. The skin inside the nostrils is shed as well and as it losens and dries it can create the same whistling sound you hear with an RI, let him shed first and if the sound doesn't clear up THEN its vet time.

    I offer all my snakes food while in shed, some eat, some dont, and sometimes they do what they feel like. If you want to offer food, offer, if you don't then dont.
