This is not a chatroom - it may take a while to get the specific answers you need.
Three bumps inside two hours is ridiculous unless you have a genuine emergency.

Re: Rack Building Help
kaorte that is EXACTLY what im looking to build, but i compromised. I took the idea from rabernet's economy rack and but it to work with a slightly bigger plastic rack from home depot, but had to leave the tops on because of the plastic having slits in it ill try and get a pic up a little later

Yeah. The Johnson control stat that I have has 6 outlets on a power strip.
I don't have any experience with helix stats but I assume there is a way to wire a power strip into it.

Re: Rack Building Help
Don't you want a grounded power strip with a surge protection button?
I would check target or something. They might have something.

Re: Rack Building Help
no because a grounded plug has 3 prongs not 2, and the helix can only take 2 prongs and a surge protector will short out the t stat

Re: Rack Building Help
So get a power strip without a surge protector? I'd bet that most of what you're looking at are just power strips anyway. Just because it has the switch doesn't mean it's a surge protector.

Re: Rack Building Help
I have built a 41qt sideways. It has 4 41qts and 6 32qt. I have had no sagging. Its on wheels. I have one continuous piece of heat tape through it. It keeps all the tubes at one temp very well I run that rack and 3 others on my herpstat pro without problems. I am still trying to find pictures sorry new computer old hard drive crashed. Not sure if i have any pictures of it anymore will take new ones of i can't find any of the old ones.
