Check the edges of the water bowl and the enclosure and if you see that he's "slimed" them from rubbing his face on them, you need to get him seen sooner, not later.

Where are you located that there's not a vet for 2 1/2 hours?

In the meantime - practice strict quarantine.

there is a closer vet but i really dont trust them, but if i see any more signs i will make the drive

Yes, if it's a RI, you need to bump the humidity to help him break up the mucus. And he needs to be seen by a vet so that you can start him on rounds of injectible antibiotics. If it's advanced to drooling, then it's not going to go away without treatment.

No one can diagnose your snake just based on a description, and none of us are vets. But if it was MY snake, I'd be making a vet appointment.

Lets put it this way. When you have a cold and are congested, do you think dry air helps it at all?

No. That is why people get humidifiers when they are sick and take hot showers. The humidity helps break up the mucous in your sinuses and lungs.

humidity should be at 55 to 60% normally....not sure what you should bump it up to or what you have had it at previously

well i talked to my vet over the phone and he said there is no reason to take the ball to him, because the ball isnt drooling any more, i opened his mouth with a card and saw no mucus and only a little bubbles, not much at all, and no wheezing or whistling when breathing. I was just over reacting but just in case i bumped the humidity and temps. Thanks for everyone help!!
