Hey whats going on, i heard rumors that say petco ball pythons and corns are wild caught?


or does petco have its own breeder?

PetCo, Jacks, Petland & Petsmart all for the most part have CH ball pythons. They usually will say so right on the price tag that they are CH.

Not true for my local Petco. The manager has a list of vendors from the corporation. I bought mine from them and they had nine hatchlings. I got a really nice one and she is a great eater? I don'e like that they kept them all in the same tank though! They did remove them to feed them alone, however.

And those vendors import thousands of captive hatched ball pythons. Petco has a contract, a single location CANNOT use private breeders, only corporate approved farmers.

Sorry, I should have used the quote button. My intention was to say that it is not true that my local Petco has WC Bp's. They were clearly CH babies.

They are HARVESTING the eggs from the wild. The number of eggs harvested for hatching and exportation is regulated by CITES.
