lol. If only he was able to lay someone down like that in a fight.

Just watched the last half of the latest episode (missed the first half), and I have to say that rampage keeps coming off like a big jerk. I feel bad for the guys he picked for his team.

Kimbo is worthless. Anybody could lay a hit like that in that simulation. NFL players could do it as well, only thing is it would of been a nice penalty, because the ball was never directly to him.

On the other hand I do MMA locally.

See I feel the opposite way I think Rampage seems genuine,He is always cracking jokes and having a good time.I'm starting to feel bad for him since he keeps losing over and over.I do give Rashad props for consoling Rampages fighter after his loss that bonus points imo.

I would not say he is worthless he seems to work hard,be ambitious and listen well.I don't disagree with the hit he could have had the interception no doubt so the hit was uncalledfor.

On a side note Neal what camp do you train with and what type on MMA do you practice?

Re: The ultimate fighter - heavyweights

How did I miss this thread?

Speaking of Rampage. Now I like Rampage but this was a bad move by him and the coaches. How could they leave for lunch right before their fighter is getting ready to fight. Now I now a lot of editing goes on to make things more entertaining but the poor guy was sitting there listening to Team Rashard getting their guy ready. That had to have messed with his head.

The Kimbo fight stunk! I saw Big Country fight in the IFL and he was not impressive. All he did in that fight against Kimbo was lay on him. I was not a Kimbo fan until seeing him in TUF. He really needs to work on his ground game.

Neal..of course an NFL player could have a hit like that..many do each year...it's just funny to watch. Also, if you would pay attention to the beginning of the video, the guy is basically getting paid either $100 or $150 to do exactly what he did. The point of that wasn't Kimbo intercepting that ball..the point was him knocking the snot out of that guy...mission successful.

Another thing. Kimbo has never and probably will never claim to be a mixed martial artist. He knows he is a street fighter and has even said so on many occasions, but he makes tons of money off of doing MMA, so why wouldn't he? Also...I doubt many people could do much of that 265 lb tub of lard was laying on top of them.

    He weighs 234, not 265.

Rhac, the place I go to is called Gracie Barra's. It's BJJ mainly, but they use a little from everything.

That article was a good read. Thanks for posting it. It was insane how fast the company folded after he lost his first fight. If they wanted to try and build the company around him they should have been more involved in his training. When Kimbo fought James "The Colossus" Thompson (GLASS JAW) I was at that fight in Newark. Kimbo was losing that fight and in any other organization the fight would have been stopped. After the fight and the cameras where off Kimbo could not even walk to the back himself and was getting booed.

I have read online that he has been signed to a couple of fights with the UFC. I wonder if this is true???
