I still have to say they are way different. ETBs are typically born with a little bit of green on them. Rico produced two green babies from the ova this year. Head structure and design is so different. ETBs seem to be more adapt for eating birds and larger prey than chondros. I honestly believe the labial pits of the ETB are more developed as well. Maybe it just seemed more alert to me when I was baby sitting one. This is, of course, leaving out the basic and still complex differences of boas to pythons. Along with other tid bits.
I plan on getting a baby ETB very soon (cats out of the bag) and this post has motivated me even more. I really enjoy both species, but have only ever been serious about chondros.
