Question Bright Neon Yellow erm "pee"

I gave Hecade, my fiance's pride and joy BP a soak tonight and then placed her in a fresh sterilite, and before I could even reach two feet to grab the paper towel to line it with she 'released' a large amount of urates into the tub. Hecade has always done this and she's always been very regular. I always without exception get a solid log, some white urates, and a little clearish fluid. I use paper towel so I can see the liquids color.

But tonight, I got practically no solids, a small chunk of urates and a whole mess of this BRIGHT neon yellow liquid. Like electric sports drink yellow. and a whooole lot. Not just the type that wets a few inches sorrounding the vent but the whole 16qt tub's substrate was soaked in it. What does that mean?

She does have a somewhat darker pink of a belly than usual for shed time, (the brille scale is turning color as well so I know its a shed cycle) but other than that I cant find one thing thats different, she's always been in perfect health, husbandry is in perfect ranges with humidity up for the shedding..

Im not too concerned about it (unless someone tells me I should be!) but I cant explain it and I wonder if this type of 'pee' color change has ever happened to anyone else? what causes it or if I should be concerned??

Urine comes in a lot of different colors. Variants of yellow are usually ok, in humans bright yellow can be from taking multivitamins.

Really unless it's brownish or reddish you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Those colors can indicate bleeding/kidney problems.

My snakes always trash a clean tub almost right away. If you want to encourage a stool, put them in a clean tub!

There's nothing to worry with the color. Snakes have the ability to recycle their wastes. Usually when you see the solid urates thats when a snake has recycled its urine to get more water out of it leaving behind the solid urate.

Seems like this time around she drank more water than usual and gifted you a water park
