Growth Chart?
Im a fairly new BP owner.
Is there some kind of chart that you can use as a rule of thumb that says your BP is growing the way it should?
For example i have a
Pastel Female Year old weighs 780g. My albino Female is two months behind her in age but her weight is 410g. Then I have a Pied female that is 800g just over a year old as well..
Thoughts???

Re: Growth Chart?
Ball pythons are like people when it comes to growth. Some grow faster than others.
I have some that are pushing 3 years old and are under 1400 grams, and some that are almost 2 1/2 that are 1800+ grams.

Re: Growth Chart?
Some grow faster than others, I weigh mine before every feed and keep track that way.
Cheers!

Re: Growth Chart?
I'd love to see a males vs females chart similar to the one that mxrider42 posted.

Re: Growth Chart?
All grow at diffrent rates some slower then others some faster then others vice versa,
Someone I know from another forum one of his 08 females is hitting 1200 atm and then another persons male spider 08 is hitting 600 so they all varie I guess.

Re: Growth Chart?
I wish the charts would include how often the snakes ate.
For every 15-foot python out in the Everglades, there are thousands of species of clams, trees, cats, grasses and birds that are wrecking just as much havoc across the globe. So, for all the headaches the snakes are causing, I at least applaud them for being scary enough to get people's attention.
