Cleaning the tub using JurassiClean.. eh?

On the bottle, the directions say to spray lightly on the sides of the enclosure and what not, and to let it dry. I've done that, but it really does nothing besides leaving a lime-scented dried up spot on the walls of the enclosure. The second time using it I sprayed, waited a few minutes, then wiped it down. Could I just wash the tub out, wipe it down, spray the JurrassiClean on a paper towel/towel, and just wipe down the tub and wait for it to dry?

Plus I'm talking about both times when I need to completely clean out the enclosure and spray when the snakes defecate.

I use wipe out 2 and I would assume it's a very similar product... when I use it I follow the directions on the bottle and then once it drys I use a spray bottle with tap water and spray down the tank again then wipe it off with a paper towel

    http://www.proexotics.com/store/prod...2&cat=0&page=1

Go there the stuff your using is loaded with alchol. Although is drys quickly it also leaves a layer of residue that when it gets wet it can get on your snake causing dry skin and possibly bad sheds. The stuff proexotics sells is safe for every us in your tubs and tanks. With a small collection a gallon could very well last you years although I would check to see if it has a use by date.

Most products found in pet stores are not really efficient zoomed's line of JurassiClean and Jurassimites are no different .

Here is what I would recommend

    Chlorhexidine

    this

    Nolvasan

    http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.h...2-00b0d0204ae5

    and this

    Trifectant

Three of the very best products Deb!

    I use Chlorhexidine and Trifectant.

    I didn't like the Nolvasan.

It made me wheeze and cough when using it, it smells good though.

Being in Texas, you may be able to get it at a feed or farm store since it is used as a disinfectant for horses and cows...
