It seems whenever I go to a zoo or something the cobras there never hood and are always hiding. But I just think shes a wonderful display animal. I also think the gtp is one of the best display animals. There gorgeous and would brighten up any room
You know, I didn't even think of a cobra, they definitely make my list along with a couple other hots.

My black rat cross and garter snakes makes awesome display herps. They are always out, exploring, and crawling over things.

    Re: Best Display Herp?

i love just sitting around and watching my chameleon... his enclosure is like a little rainforest in my room, but i also like my beardy... hes fun to watch as well... but hands down when it comes to feeding watching my cham feeding is WAY better than any of my other pets, ball python included

THIS PIC RIGHT HERE BELOW IS ONE REASON WHY I LOVE THE ENCLOSURE... LITERALLY LIKE A LITTLE RAINFOREST !!!!

next on my list after another beardy, pick up the 2 crested geckos my friend has waiting for me, switch my turtles to a bigger tub, and get my mojave ball python...

GREEN TREE PYTHON !!!!! chondro all the way, but i gotta do all that stuff first hahaha, i have some aspirations for my collection hahhaa

    Re: Best Display Herp?

    GTP, beardies, dart frogs, chameleons.

There are others that would make great display herps...if they came out during the day. My BRB's enclosure is made to be a display, but she almost never comes out.

I like GTP's... but I also have a corn snake who thinks he's a GTP. He is a great display snake, out all the time and doing ridiculous things.

My vote was for other boa. When I go to Nerd im allways drawn towards the big redtail boa's. Its nice seeing the big snakes.

    Re: Best Display Herp?

Voted GTP and "other python" to include carpets. I would have voted for BRBs, cause they're IMO one of the most, if not outright the most beautiful snakes out there, but they tend to hide, so they're not great display animals.
